Photographer’s Note

On Christmas eve I took a walk with my family taking a look at our relatives neighbourhood in Monakam, Schwarzwald, Germany. Amongst other things we passed the golf court. The ground was covered with a thin layer of snow but there was actually a couple of people playing golf.

This tree stood in a corner of the golf court and I thought it looked nice. Noteworthy is also the tower for hunting in the back ground that for some reason stands in the golf court.

As usual jpeg combined with internet explorer's poor color management doesn't do this picture justice. Trees with a lot of branches are difficult to compress without loosing sharpness.

My sister Lydia also took a few pictures during this same walk that are available at the site.

Nice picture Simon.
It's strange how this tree stands alone...
I think the colors could be enhanced here (levels, contrast), but that's a good shot anyway.

A very nice tree indeed and a good capture. I presume this photo scanned - and perhaps you even had to resize down in order to get under 200k. I tried a workshop and used less space with a sharper image - perhaps your software playing tricks on you.

Simon, this is wonderfull, a very nice place for "Leave me alone!". A very nice tree indeed and a good capture, good shot.

Cette image est très claire bien dégagé pour mettre cet arbre en valeur.
Le cadrage serré est bon et la présentation correct.
Bravo Simon pour ce partage.

Une petite photo simple mais intéressante avec ce cadrage . un endroit surement tres agreable . bien vu .
