Photographer’s Note
Afternoon in Black Forest, near Bad Griesbach and Glaswaldsee, close to the Lettstädter Höhe (966m).
At this place, the forest is devastated. The large trees are crushed, or cut into two. You can see a hut (for hunting), destroyed too. I think that it's the result of the hurricane of December 1999. However, the luminosity was exceptional, and took away any tragic dimension to the place. Great silence, fresh air, and peace. A little further, young trees took the place of old ,slowly...

Bonjour Pascale.
La brume offre toujours une ambiance intéressante, encore plus dans des endroits dévastés comme celui-ci. Le petit tronc coupé en avant-plan à gauche me dérange un peu, mais sinon, c'est une très bonne photographie.
