Photographer’s Note
We were on a cycling tour along the Saar river in October and had stopped for a picnic when I noticed this bridge looking like a pair of pliers or some gigantic jaw. So I snapped it.
The postprocessing included a bit of cropping to achieve full symmetry and some slight colour enhancement and sharpening.

Happy New year Per,
I like your idea and the realisation is good for the Jaw effect.

Hi Per,
First of all my sincereally votes of a happy and better new Year to you and family. The title fits so well this fine capture you did. A graphic photo and well balanced composition. Symmetric capture, with good colors and light management. The water mirroring reflections are very well captured.
Very well seen and done. Congratulations and the best to you.

Hi Per,
Excellent cycling trip along the Saar, you chose a perfect angle for a beautiful composition, also the reflection show Jaws, certainly good title too!
Thanks for visit,
John.

Happy New Year, Per. Well, this was very well seen - although I think the "Jaws" effect suffers a bit from the fact that some scrolling is necessary to see the photo in its entirety, perhaps a height of 600 px would have been better to that end. Everything else is nice - colors, light. Oh and wouldn't it be fun to have a boat enter the "mouth" from the left? :)

Hi Per,
I like this kind of symmetry... excellent "modern" composition, very clear with all details. Nice colours and interesting light. Fantastic capture!

Hi Per,
My first association was a pair of nutcrackers. Lovely picture that tickles the fantasy.
Excellent work with the horizontal symmetry in the picture.
