| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This hanging merry-go-round was photographed four years ago. The famous Oktoberfest began yesterday again in September. Cubic meters of beer and tons of roast chicken will be "wolfed down" in the next two weeks. The difficult part of this photo was not the light or the framing. It was just to be able to enter one of these full big tops. I could come in because I met some contrymen before that use to travel every year to Munich. They must reserve a room almost one year before and they travel without their wives.
I wish the people there pleasant fun. (do not forget to go to vote).
This picture is a scanned negative. I had to elimate some scratches. |

Oh wow, what a scene! Looks very interesting, although I'm not sure if I'd really enjoy being there myself among these people - I'm not really a big fan of beer(well, except certain periods...) nor roast chicken ;o)

I looked inmediattely at the date of this picture. I couldn't imagine it was a election party of CDU or SPD. But as I thought it was Bayern. If not carneval - preparing carneval - forgetting carneval then it has to be an Oktober Fest.
