Photographer’s Note
The Museum Island is in Berlin Mitte (former Ost-Berlin). A lot of museums and other buidlings like the "Berliner Dom" (a cathedral) and the "Palast der Republik" (where the DDR parliament used to be among other political institutions) stand there.
This is a place where many old power symbols of several kinds are concentrated : artistic, religious, politic.
Concerning the Berliner Dom, it was built in 1905 and partly destroyed during the WW2. The re-building finished a only a few years ago...
Quite a baroque atmosphere !

Magnifica cúpula...y pleno arte barroco.
Pena de que el objetivo no diese mas en gran angular.

Interesting shot, Stéphan, good perpective, so softly coloured. A real baroque atmosphere: it looks like some itaLian historical churches.

Bonjour Stéphane,
Great picture of this place which I know as well, but I have to say, I haven't been inside the Dom, but from the outside, the Dom is very impressive too, just like this cupola here. The PoV is really great, very well done!

Beautiful! you have cropped exactly right to achieve the symmetry. You have managed a sharp photo as you must have your head in an unnatural angle and it is a relatively slow speed. Well done

Hi Stephane,
What a beautiful work you made here. Great colours, contrast and a perfect simetry. This museumm must be, for sure, a great place to visit and spend some hours. A really great addition to TE gallery.

Hi Stephane,
A well framed and pleasing view of this mighty dome. The concentrated gold and white colour and light in the centre really enhances. I also like how the sky's natural light shines through the windows. The artwork is amazing. A superb job you have done on cropping. This shot has real impact.

Hi Stephane,
perfect central view, precise circles, it almost seems to be flat, strange effect.
