nice shot of the man
the 350D is a NICE MACHINE! I just love it, with time you get used to avoid the LCD screen, now I do not need one, I need a viewfinder!

Awesome picture! I love the feel of this- its a nice setting. I think it might be the yellowish light that does it. I like how the figure is off to the side and not straight in center- it makes you realize its a picture of the place as a whole, not just the traveler. Wonderful job.

Very nice shot indeed. Everything is straight and graphical except this man reading. I like to see this pillar up front. well done; congradulations.

Beautifully frames and "sensed", Greg. Yes, at first I thought it might be a Gringofil product, but no, wrong country, better still, wrong continent. Also your photo lacks that husge expanse of extremely slick reflective surface in the foreground, courtesy of the extra wide...;)))
What you do have though, and it is your very own, is excellent placement of THREE A...Platz signs and an innocent commuter (I hope!!!), placed just right on the right. The whole compo works very well together. Delightful scene. kudos! Francis

Greg? Is it yours? I wouldn't have guessed... :o)
So neat and clear and with a bit "shy" colours. The composition works perfectly, it reminded me of some of Luko's works in his "tidy" moments. A bit of Dominique & Curtis too, but still different.
I like it a lot!

Hi Greg. This shows your usual acute aesthetic sense - sense for colour and form and mass. Sure you weren't meant to by nature for a career in interior design, or maybe architecture?
Not sure what you mean by an SLR without a mirror - maybe a 35mm that uses a digital display instead of a TTL prism, like videocams do? Would be useful, yes. While waiting for that particular messiah, there's a viewfinder attachment out from Canon that lets you hold the camera at 90 degrees - meaning you can put it up over your head in a crowd, or down at waist level, and still see what you're shooting.
Do you have the 20D? I don't. Stuck with the 10D - can't afford to go upmarket. But I'm aiming for the 1D Mark II. Someday. Next year.

Such a classic shot, Greg... I am amazed by your gallery too, which I have just chanced upon. Wonderful body of work. This too, has a very delightful, rhythmic composition, beautiful colours, nice "rule of thirds", all in all, this is a superbly accomplished shot!

Hi Greg
I've just come across this image on the homepage of TE. As a big fan of Berlin, I must congratulate you on this superb image. It has many graphical qualities, is perfectly exposed and the framing is first class. Excellent work.
Best wishes
Mark
