Cologne Cathedral Photo

Photographer’s Note

This one I am sure you have seen @least a thousand times most probably because of the fact that this sight is very well known.

To my mind this is due to the fact that this photographic sweetspot can be reached by feet within 10 minutes from the Cologne Central Station just pass the Bridge towards "Deutz".

Technical Data:
F-5.6 @ 200 ASA/ISO Duration 8 Seconds using RAW

Yes we have seen it but this is a superb shot at night and you also incorporated the brigde on the right... nice composition and night shot.

i remember the cathedral of Koln, but i didn't see it as you shows us ... Nice exposure, the frame is good, but i would have it without the building on left. Good sharpness, and nice colors (opposition between warm and cold colors).

Very impressive this night shot Serdar. Total control of the light, excellent perspective, great details. However many times we have seen this cathedrahl - IMO this must be one of the very best ever presented..

On one day two similar views of the same subject posted, the other by Deryk Baumgaertner (DERYK). This must be the picture to take in Cologne at night.
This I find the better of the two, very clear and sharp picture of the "Dom"

Wow, what a neatness. Wonderfull night shot. I like it also because it brings a lot of souvenirs to my mind. Indeed I did my soldiers time in the military hospital of Köln.
