Photographer’s Note

This is my last picture from Berlin! Tomorrow, I'll be back in The Netherlands!

And this last one is a little bit symbolical, cos after the sightseeing tour in Berlin, when I took all the pictures, I had to go to the Danish Embassy for a conference, so this picture of the building of the Embassies of the five Nordic countries is the real end of the Berlin-tour.

The Embassies of the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland) were built together in Berlin near Tiergarten. Each country has its own building in the complex. The entrance to all the embassies is in Felleshuset (The Pan Nordic Building).
The embassies are designed by architects from their own country and express the sovereignty and individual culture of the country, but to express the special relation the five countries have with each other, the embassies are surrounded by a copper green wall, that you can see on this picture. The brown building on the right is Felleshuset.

Please take also a look at the following links:
Danmarks ambassade i Berlin
Sveriges ambassad i Berlin
Norges ambassade i Berlin
Sendiráð Íslands í Berlín
Suomen suurlähetystö Berliini
Felleshuset

I cropped this picture a bit and added a frame.

Hope you like this picture and I hope you enjoyed my pictures from Berlin!
Thanx for visiting them! :-D
