Rain seems to always make for a great mood to just about any photo, and it certainly felt to enhance this quaint street during a passing storm.

This photo has a different feel to it, and I quite like it. Not too many photographers would think to have a sidewalk as the main object, but you demonstrate that it can be quite beautiful in its own regard. The architectural details are well seen, and I like the lines formed by the sidewalk is it widens from the foreground and then curves out of the picture on the left.
PS - Thanks for the comment on one of my photos that had yet to have a critique. I thought I'd return the favour!

Good morning Jason,
inspite of the rain, I can see why you liked this corner s much: fine red/brown facade with golden decoration, and a lamp-post that just fit well onto the scene.
There are some green lichen on the pavement - and gave an additional color on.

Hello, my dear friend,
This photo force us to scrutinize the details of the street. I like to take similar "piece of town" photos, good vertical composition, vivid colors of the old architecture.
