With this stained glass window I wish all members here on TrekEarth a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

I saw this beautiful window in Martin Luther-church in Detmold, a small town in the very north-east of the German state Nordrhein-Westfalen. It was built from 1888 to 1889 in place of an older, smaller church - and it was financed only by donations! The church is famous for its wonderful windows.

This is a nice capture of this great stained glass window. The vertical format is perfect to allow us to see the entire panel. Your light management is nice here yielding fine colors and nice clarity. It is nice to see a post from you again here on TE.

hatte deine Weihnachtskarte übersehen, für Weihnachtswünsche ist es nun wohl zu spät... Das Bild ist sehr schön, vor allem der Schnitt ausschließlich auf das Fenster lässt uns in die bunte fremde Welt eintauchen... ES freut mich, dass dich TE noch nicht ganz losgelassen hat...

Das ist ein wirklich sehr schönes Kirchenfenster, das auch perfekt auf Weihnacht passt. Schöne satte Farbtöne, ausgezeichnete Schärfe und keine sichtbare Verzerrung, ein echter Meisterschuss, sorgfältig geplant und ausgeführt.

Auch ja, meine drei Fraun in Bangkok, die Umgebung ist den Asiaten meist völlig unwichtig, Hauptsache sie können dort sitzen und schwatzen.
