I think after the hectic days here, everyone needs a place for relaxing. I've found it here.
This lonely tree stands above the highway from Munich to Salzburg in Irschenberg, Bavaria
I have post it months before with snow surrounded.

excellent and well chosen placement of the lonely tree in the frame as is out lined perfect against the blue and puffy sky.I like the colour tints of the sky just above the horizon as the empty bench in front of the tree.Well done.

Hi Hartmut,
This is a really good example of a minimalist composition that work so well to depict the relax atmophere, and there is no need to have fantastic landscape or monument to make a good photo. Sometime a simple thing in life make the best photo experience. I feel like being transfer to the quiet and relaxing place. Great composition, good placement of the tree and bench off to the side with lot of open space for a sense of freedom and openin of the mind and heart. there maybe just a little bit too much sharpening? just maybe.

Hi Hartmut, I find this picture simply lovely. The silhouettes of the tree and of the seat are great. Also the colors of the sky are excellent. I think you'll make many wonderful pictures like this in US... ;)

Guten morgen caro Hartmut, such a well-exposed photo, with dramatic sillhouettes and perfect sky. The wisps of clouds are so beautiful and I like the lone tree and bench alone in the middle of nowhere.
