Mosel valley is a major wine producing region which also receives a lot of tourists. No doubt many visitors come by car and are planning to take loads of bottles home. Riverside villages have countless wineries all wanting to look inviting to the visitors.

Well this is unfair advertising, Elsass has much better and cheaper wines, let's hope visitors will take only pictures here and continue to the south ;-)
That being said a nice little shop entrance, the absolute minimum required to place wine in this beer drinkers country !

Hi Kari, you have combined two of my favourite things: wine and beautiful old architecture in this shot. It seems you were shooting in difficult light conditions, but this has not stopped you from presenting a beautifully exposed photo. It seems in this place, everything is so cute and perfect, just like out of Hans Christian Anderson. Nice work, I'm enjoying your travels, Lisa.

Hi Kari,
One of those wonderful things about European city and town, there are always these little very cute and charming shops around the corner and its usually a short walk. Where in the State, you have to drive to it and it not cute. Just a shop. Very nice one here, good detaild and good composition. Thanks Kari.
