Photographer’s Note

Medieval market square of Bernkastel. The square is surrounded by many well preserved half-timbered houses as well as the renaissance Rathaus (city hall) built in 1608 (stone building in the middle). The fountain is called St. Michaelsbrunnen.

A superb blue hour picture . The architecture is so beautiful . The back of the car ? It was there , and it would not be a good thing to crop the nice house in the left .

Hello Kari,
these medieval houses look very scenic in the growing darkness :) I like the warmth of the scene - even despite the cold blue sky over the houses.
Very good POV (maybe I would correct some lens distortion on the left...?)

Hi Kari, Blue Hour is my favourite type of photo and this is an excellent example of it. You've used the vertical to great effect, I like the dyanamism of the moving people and the architecture is wonderful. Great control of light with the 1/4 seconds.
