Photographer’s Note
I thought of calling this shot "boats, cars and trains" and I suppose the only interesting aspect of it is that it depicts three different modes of transport. And in the narrow Mosel valley they run parallel for some time. I was on a moving train, shooting the rail and the road and the river through a window. getting the barge completely in would have been a scoop, but the train was moving fast. But somehow this is typical of our modern world, isn't it? Constantly on the move, by any means of transportation.
After resizing, I had to sharpen, clarify and saturate before sharpening again. Maybe it's slightly overdone, but the original wasn't all that good to begin with.

Hi Per! This is very nice. What amazed me is the similarity of our posts. I posted a similar pic titled "railway, road and river" (you may want to check it out) a month ago. The only difference was that there's no boat in my pic, but the train's visible. Great work! rgds!

Hi Per, it is very difficult a photo of on the train make. But, I find this picture very beautiful, the depth is perfect and indeed the three elements; rail, road and river. Everything sharp and clear!

Good note and title, Per. This photo has an excellent perspective and gives us a very plesant view. The composition and framing are good, the depth is also very good. Nice work!

It seems not overdone at all. The picture is very harmonic. Bad you didn't have the chance to get a train crossing yours. Instructive!

boats, cars and trains would also have been a good choice for a title; but yep, i prefer this one to it. nice shot Per... 3 modes in 1 picture. well seen and captured. the slight motion blur makes the picture come alive
