Photographer’s Note

Fourth entry in my mini-series of "autumn mood" photos which I took during a walk along the fields and apple tree groves in my vicinity. For the last photo, I tried to capture the bursting effect of the sun that was getting ready to set. As in the previous shot, the yellow-ish tones on the ground are mustard grass.

L'automne nous réserve bien des surprises. Cette photo est digne d'une peinture, tout est y présent dans la composition, un ciel mouvementé éclairé par une sorte de clarté divine. Le petit chemin de terre qui nous amène vers ce ciel divin !
Un simple mot : Admiration.

Wonderful composition. Simple and powerful. The road leading into this firework of light. The tree which is happily assisting you in gaining a nice foreground. Even the clouds making a show to concentrate on the sunny spot. The colors in the sky are typical autumn to winter colors with a metalic touch. Thanks for taking me with you on this small tour. I enjoyed it.

This is a wonderful shot. The path leading to the horizon with the sun shining behind the clouds. The big tree on the front and the ones far at the background completes the wide country feeling.
I like your mini-series! Keep going in the apple fields.

Fine sucsess this shot Norbert. The light spots from the sun balancing very good to the tracks in the road. Good placements of details, well composed.

I'm sure,it's one of your best series(and only series) that have a strong poetical point with use of natural elements,really it's an admirable series,and this one is excellent,one by one are lovely,Congratulation for this series,...

Das kann man ja schon als Beispiel für eine Fluchtpunkt-Komposition nehmen! Wunderbar, wie alle Linien (der Feldweg, die Sonnenstrahlen, der Rand der Wolken) auf ein gemeinsames Zentrum zulaufen! Auch das Farbenspiel am Himmel ist sehr schön.

Good series indeed Norbert. The sun is just in the right place for this shot. The light rays that come from the clouds gives a lot of feeling to this shot. Great composition with the trees. I also enjoy all the gradients of blue that your photo offers. Another real nice shot.

I think, autumn is the season for the most impressive photos! The change from the hot of summer to the cold of winter make this season very special!

About your photo, the clue is the sun rays you have captured very very well and the color of the sky! Very fine job!

You captured the sunset perfectly, Norbert, with the sunlight radiating out from the top of the clouds. I also like how the path in the fields leads us directly to the sunset. The tree is nicely placed in the shot. Very well seen.

A nice picture Norbert, but for me is the foregrond vegetation to dark. I try another view in a WS.

Great Norbert - I would say you where to right place at the right moment - I sometimes spot a similar sky but it seldom I can find the right foreground before its to late. Very lovely colours with that golden touch a speicial blue.

Spectacular scene Norbert - you captured the last rays of light in a most stunning way - vivid colors, excellent contrast and just the right position in the frame. The overall scene is very beautiful and just great to watch. So great, that I set it as my laptop's background... :)
