Photographer’s Note

Holstentor is the undisputed landmark of Lübeck. Two small, chunky towers fronting the entrance to the medieval city.
It is immortalized in many photographs, all in different season and lightings, and it is difficult to cath without getting any interfering streetlamps in the way.
I took this picture recently after a day with snow and sleet. It became dry weather later in the evening, so I went for a few memories...

Stunning architecture! I can see why it is the undisputed landmark of this city. You have captured the details of this structure beautifully with such clarity and sharpness. that is a very interesting view of the Holstentor.
Interesting that the surrounding is completely dark, no street lights etc.
