I do not remember if I have posted more pictures of a train station. This is strange because I like this kind of buildings, especially when they have been built at the end of the 19th century/beginning of the 20th.
This building (main station of Bremen) though designed for service, has details of beauty like the two reliefs at the right and left side of the clock that represent the travel by ship and the travel by train. On the façade there are coats of arms of important German cities (members of the Hansa) like Hamburg and Cologne.
The roof is made of copper. These details and especially this last one make this building to unique and unreapeatable. |

Hej Clemente,
A building like the one you show us here, can't be anything else but a railway station. I like the almost complete symmetry. The decorations of the facade are very nice and I also like the attractive red colour of the bricks. The many people add much life and many other colours to the view. Well done!
Regards,
Lars
Hi Clemente,
Main station of Bremen has nice architecture with all those arches. I like the busy action in front of. Wide angle works well. Direct afternoon light may not be the best possible though.
