Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken while low tide in the tidelands of the German North Sea coast - some minutes after sunset. There still are puddles and tidal creeks in the now exposed sea bed which reflect this impressive spectacle.

Actually I don't like sunsets but this one is after sunset and looks like a piece of art.

Bonjour Frank.
C'est une très belle photo qui pourrait illustrer la fin d'un monde. J'aime les couleurs du ciel qui viennent se refléter sur la mer et sur le sable. L'absence de toute vie rend cette composition très dramatique.

Hello Frank,
The sky looks as if it is on fire in this lovely composition. The exposure is very well managed retaining good detail in the darker areas of the image. Beautiful red tones with hints of blue. A fine sunset.

Hallo Frank,
faszinierendes Bild vom Sonnenuntergang über dem Wattenmeer. Der rötlich feurige Himmel entfaltet seine ganze Farbenpracht und darunter spiegelt sich das Ganze nicht weniger prächtig auf den Wasserpfützen im Watt. Du hast hier vermutlich den perfekten Moment erwischt um dieses Naturschauspiel sehr gelungen abzulichten. Gratulation.

Bonjour, mon bon ami Frank,
Qu'il soit bleu, gris ou orangé le ciel est toujours là, au-dessus de nos têtes. Reflet de nos humeurs, on y cherche l'inspiration, on l'interroge, on l'admire.
Ici, l'on croit rêver les yeux ouverts tant la beauté est irréelle !
Une image de toute beauté.

Hallo Frank. Eine Landschaft in den schönsten Farben der untergehenden Sonne. Solche Aufnahmen sind eine Herzensangelegenheit. Hierbei werden nicht so sehr die Fakten vermittelt, sondern es wird ein Gefühl mittels der Photographie transportiert. Alles ist toll anzusehen. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

oui, un ciel de feu, et ce feu qui enflamme même les flots, leur donnant des allures de laves.
