Photographer’s Note

Finally after app. 2.000km of driving, and a diversion last weekend by plane to Corsica, I am at the shores of the Baltic sea.
I have the choice of either using the new bridges in Denmark, a short ferry from Puttgarden, Germany to Rødby, Denmark - or I can take the brand new cruiser/car ferry MS "Color Magic" from Kiel, Germany and up to Oslo, Norway, and saving me some 8-900km of driving. Departure at 14.00, arrival the next day in Oslo 09.30. From there just some 40 minutes home.

This ship have only been sailing for 3 days so it's still in the phase of the first premier cruises when I boarded.

This ship is a sistership of MS "Color Fantasy" where there is already a theme at TE.

The photo here from the 160m shopping street/Promenade inside the ship - ever seen a "car ferry" like this?

..and of course this is the end of my little travelouge from the long drive thorugh Europe this summer.

Hi Jack, doesn't look like a ship to me! But the colors are nice and I might just be on it next year in may, when I start my trip through Norway!

On se croirait dans un filam de science-fiction !
La scène est assez étrange et attire l'oeil par son coté coloré ! L'image manque un peu de netteté !
Etrange mais bien vu !

Hi Jack,
I too like the concept of promenade, also available on some ferries between Helsinki and Stockholm. I guess seeing it all new and shine add to the experience. Almost magic feeling created by special toned lights. That egg looking ceiling structure really catch my eye.
