Photographer’s Note

The indoor or outdoor star, maybe that is what you'll think this is after having a few beers?
I took this photo at "Hansens Brauerei" in Flensburg one hot evening in July.
Being dehydrated after the hot day anyone can start seing strange things when they get a beer.
Maybe that's what happened to me!?

I took the photo with my Sony Ericsson W800i mobile phone camera. Well it was dark and close to impossible to get a good photo with anything, so I just flipped the camera settings to nighttime and simply hoped for the best.
It may not be much of a motiv, but it look really cool.
If anyone's still curious what it is, I cantell you that it is a big parasoll used over the outdoor serving areas.

I ran the photo through neatimage to remove the grain that comes with the nighttime setting, added a frame and that's it.

Great use of the diagonal in this composition. The lights give the scene a starburst effect. Well done.

I look at this without having had all those beers that are required in order to obtain that special artistic vision. I like the composition. Nice graphical pattern. I was amazed to read that it was shot with a mobile phone camera. Not bad at all.

Hey Odd,
From a thumbnail's view looks like a ferrieswheel...you can imagine lots of things when you have too much to drink. Shooting with digital this days we surprise ourselves with results and with your creativity better image are made. Your image captures attention and can't forgive myself not to look further...hmmm this is a good one dude!

Very well captured Odd. Mainly a bunch of triangles, but looks very nice. I like the tone, it is calm but still effective. Very good picture.

You have some great photos in your collection, well done!

This one really caught my eye though. Great abstract quality to this image and a good composition too and I love the colours, especially on the thumbnail version where it really stood out for me. I can't believe this was taken on a mobile phone! Great job and best regards from England,
