Photographer's Note

Hallig Hooge is a small very flat island off the German coast in Nordfriesland (close to Denmark). It has 7 small hills - and all buildings are placed on top of these hills. The reason?? When ever a storm flood comes every now and then the whole island in under water except for the 7 hills. And the inhabitants experience the roaring North Sea just a couple of meters from their door step. Impressing and special place. Ferry from Dagebūll :)
