Indoor's view of the Rashi Synagogue in Worms, a well renovated old synagogue after the burning on Kristallnacht in 1938. It was not the first attack in the history of this place: See the Wikipedia page about the Synagogue, named after Rabbai Shlomo Yitzchaki, who lived in the 11th century in Worms, known as the acronym Rashi.
Taken from a corner in an extremely difficult low angel.
In the WS #1, is the modest outdoor's view on the entrance.
In the WS #2, is silverware rescued from the synagogue and on display in the Museum.
Located in Hintere Judengasse #6 : 49.6337,8.3663

You have managed the light well despite the difficult conditions. Your point of view shows the interior proportions and simple decoration to good effect. The people bring the scene life. Pleasant warm tones and good sharpness.

You're capturing well the inside of this synagogue by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the synagogue also used as central existence of Jews' community. It's also impressive in strong/big pillars and inner wall with white. Many pious believers have gathered in synagogue. And, it's profound for entrance door where leads to the hall.

You captured well the quietness of the Synagogue. The point of view is showing the details and colours of the interior of the Rashi Synagogue. The surrounding light is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Bonsoir, cher Ike,
Exercice difficile lorsque nous ne possédons pas de trépied. Le résultat est excellent. Un grand merci pour la note et la photo présentée en atelier.
L'ensemble permet d'apprécier beaucoup plus l'intérêt du sujet.

From your workshop it is hard to believe that this fine interior of the synagogue exists within such an understated entrance. Fine POV showing the vaulted type ceiling and the strong sturdy pillars. Colours and lighting provide nice tonal qualities .

This was indeed a very challenging photo as far as light management was concerned. I think you did fine given the circumstances. Nice window into an area of life I don't enter very often. The last time I was in a synagogue was the wedding of a classmate when I was a college student in Turkey.

Beautiful view of this old synagogue still used as a place of worship. The light was difficult but you managed it very well. Nice Gothic windows and ceiling.
I like visiting all kinds of temples and the synagogues are quite rare so it is interesting for me to see. Thanks for sharing

beautiful shot from inside of the Synagogue!I like also the WS picture showing us the building from outside.
Superb presentation and excellent work with available light(which by the way helps to create nice, pensive mood of the scene-especially when we see it together with the people praying in the Synagogue).
Wish You a nice day

your wish to be discreet and remain unobserved has led to a quick capture from an original point of view. You give us a lot of information about the interior of the synagogue, its modest and solid architecture as well as its warm and peaceful atmosphere. There's an interesting scene of human interest too as everybody is looking at the standing gentleman on the left. Depth, clarity and lighting are great. You have included a lovely presentation in the workshop. Congratulations and thank you! So sad to think of the bitter manifestation of human cruelty in this place.
All the best, have a lovely evening,

Was there a service taking place at the moment of this picture? It's hard to make out for sure, but it looks like everyone has their attention focused to the left. A very nice look inside, I like the caramel tones created from this white balance. You did a great job in controlling the natural light trying to make it's way through the windows. Some of the detail was lost which is unavoidable, but it's not blown out to the point of being distracting, and has been kept within the framework.
Tough thing to do in balancing the multiple lighting factors, but you came away with a pleasing level on all accounts. There's some good detail in here as well, I'm not really seeing any digital noise, it has a smooth appearance. Compliments on a fine and respectful presentation of the interior. Have a great day ahead.

Well managed interior lighting with a warm soft ambiance. Good sharpness and the people add scale and context. Perspective has been well managed with the central verticals perfectly aligned on a vertical axis, leaving the sides to fall where they will. Tfs!

First time in my life I can have a look inside a synagogue; this historic building seems quite modestly decorated inside.
I presume those seated devotees don't wearing the kippa are women.
Thanks so much for contributing to my instruction.

I've never been inside a synagogue nor seen a picture of an inside of one--thanks. Nice capture of this synagogue, the image shows a lot of respect for this holy place. I like the lighting and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Excellent interior photo. The light and colors are also perfect, the view up very good.
Thanks for your comments to my Gruyere Welcome Board photo. But I must disappoint you, Swiss chocolate is hidden in the train.
This train is not just a train, it is famous Swiss Chocolate Train.
The Swiss Chocolate Train is a joint venture of GoldenPass Services and Cailler-Nestlé. Ride in first-class comfort in a "Belle Epoque" Pullman car, vintage 1915 and/or the modern panorama car affording stunning views of the vineyards surrounding Montreux and medieval Gruyères.
Depart Montreux (on Lake Geneva) on the Swiss Riviera, ascend to Gruyères, home of the famous Gruyère cheese, and eventually continue to Broc, where the chocolate factory is situated.
Beside of this, today I found that my son Roman in Switzerland started posting to this gallery.
Can I ask you and your friends to give support to him? I'd happy to see more of his photos here (as you may know I'm leaving in Malaysia).

nice to see the old building renewed again. good details of architecture and the people using the place. the oldest synagogue in 3 Americas was discovered in recife city few years ago and was transformed in a museum.

I see you made a pilgrimage in Jewish history in Germany.
Your capture of this synagogue interior is very relaxing and reflects the religious feeling of the place.
I like the warm, yellow light and the sharp lines of the cosy interior that contrasts interestingly with the oldish look of the outside in WS1. It looks well placed in a lush garden.
Thanks for sharing.
