Photographer’s Note

Probably one of the last photographs taken inside a huge industrial building, before its destruction the next day.

The technical bit:

The light is natural sunlight, shining in through the broken up roof, just had to wait for the right time for it to cast the shadows and bring out the various colors...
The framing is a straight 50/50.
The details on the right side of the picture are spread over 3 almost equal areas differing strongly in color content. The balance of the picture is cought up by the large 'detail-less' (in comparison) left side of the picture.

The creative bit:

What cought my attention to the scene was the difference in colors and first of all the funnel in the washing basin and the obviously sprayed on letters and numbers... just like it was once part of a contemprary art exhibition...

No idea, who put it there, as this place was not open to the public.

Just an absolutely lovely scene! :-)
