Photographer’s Note
In my couple of hours in Trier (a small detour during my Be-Ne-Lux tour) I was attracted by the typical half-timbered houses on the market square. They are the first houses of this type I've seen, and I like them so much! I hope I can see more in the future, also to take better photos than this one :)

Hallo Sabrina!
I like your picture very much, because these houses with slate-roofs are very common in my region too (please look my pictures). Your photo shows a lot of details and the streetlamp and the clock are nice additions. By the way, Trier is Germany's oldest city!
Greetings from autumnal but sunny Germany!

Sabrina,
I just came across your photo after I posted a similar photo recently. We both show the same building with the clock, but you picked the building on the right to complement it, while I chose the one on the left.
I like your composition, plus your choice of vertical alows you to show the roofs which makes the two houses look like twins, although not identical twins. Your POV is from a side angle, which softens the picture compared to mine.
Nice job,
Dave
