Photographer’s Note
After the posting of Christophe Baumans ( rhizomes ) of the cloister of the St Paul chuch in Liége ( see here ), I claimed that I did a similar picture whitout need to stich.
So I present you this picture made last june in Trier.
It is the cloister between the Dom and the Liebfrauenkirche in Trier.
The Dom, is the oldest church of Germany, some documentation can be foud here.

Magnifique photo Didier !
Bravo

This is a great POV how you split the photo down the half. Would love to know what the focal length here was. Im imagining this POV shot at 10mm focal length and Im drooling. Great shot.

Salut Didier,
Superbe...
Christophe

Hello Didier
This is a lovely composition. You've chosen a wonderful viewpoint allowing us to see down both cloisters as diagonals at the same time, and the fact the lighting is different in each of them adds to the interest. The vaulted ceilings are beautiful and I like the inclusion of the people.
Excellent shot.

Hi Didier,
I like this view of the cloister a lot.
One side of the cloister captures our attention becouse of the nice sunlight and the shadows on the floor, the other becouse of the people.
The place must be beautiful, anyway.
Regards,
Krysia

Bonjour Didier,
Belle photo.

I like this kind of perspective shots. I recall one seen here on TE which looks quite similar. Very difficult light situation and even though I think a slightly higher shutterspeeds would even fits better, very well done. :o)

Bonjour Didier,
I like the splendid corner with very great depth, also the gold colours are fantastic, it's a very difficult picture through the one side the great light and the other side more darkness.
Felicitations Didier!

Hello, Didier!
You have achieved a fantastic effect, symmetry is perfect and the play of light and shadow makes a very mystical feeling. Little pity, that the hall isn't completely empty.

Greg

Hello Didier
Very nice perspective,
makes it look like one of those old drawings (whose author I forgot)where you dont know which way is up and which way is done
Great colour and light

This is a great POV and framing for a cloister. The sense of depth and the play between light and shadow seems to suck us into the place. The exposure was very well managed considering the high contrasts. The detail of the people in the left part works nicely and brings life to the composition.

Salut Didier,
Jean-Yves

Bonsoir Didier. I have seen this photo a couple of times already, and now I finally get around to send you my congratulations for it. This is a fine way to frame the cloisters, resulting in a whopping "V" perspective. The light is very well managed, the dignified and ornate architecture is well shown, and I like to see some people in the left portion of the frame. Nice work.

Bonjour Didier
