It was said that in old times, citizens visiting the town hall of Sinzig on official business had to wait patiently for prolonged times until they were called upon. In the mean time, many of them used to sit and rest on the town wall.
Some of them took advantage of the situation and relieved themselves.
A new traffic circle has been constructed recently. As a decoration, it received a fake town wall segment with a small statue showing the situation. The Santa cap is not a permanent part of it.
The s(h)itting guy shows a newspaper in his right hand (invisible), and in my eyes he bears a significant similarity to the present Mayor...
Translation: German "Stadtmauer" means town wall, rhenish dialect "driss" means faeces.

This is a very "cheeky" photo. :-) I'm sure this activity presented some serious health problems at the time! It seem that the town does have a sense of humor, though. Nice angle; we get the full view, and with some Christmas spirit on top. :-)

Kia ora Sven (greetings from New Zealand),
Certainly a statue with a difference!! I've seen 'Manneken Pis' in Brussels but this....
Great shot. Cheers, Neil

Une image techniquement bien fait, avec un sujet intéressant, couleur, le contraste et la netteté bien harmonisés, une belle image
