Photographer's Note

Most time of my life I had the feeling that I never enjoyed the springtime properly. I always had (and have) to do urgent things during that season. Taking photos for a long while now, I can't offer you great scenes of flowering landscapes. And anyway, autumn is my favored time to follow this hobby. But by chance, looking for some other stuff, I found this photo in a "not yet tidied corner" of my archives. Yes, more urban minded as I am, that means spring for me. I had this sight for many spring times when I crossed the road there. Just a row of cherry trees. Again, urban minded as I am, I'm not sure about the kind of trees. Could also be, they are Almond trees. However, it doesn't matter as long as they are flowering.

Behind the trees you see one of the two stair cases of the Horeb school. I spent there the end of the sixties. Can you imagine that students had been parted by confession and gender then? So it doesn't wonder that I can't remember my neighbor of the same age went there to school at the same time - he's an catholic.

I adjusted the photo to give the building a vertical corner. Then I cropped, re-sized and sharpened it. And a little color adjustment was also done.

And of course seasonal Easter Greetings!
