Photographer’s Note

The mother church and one of the three Romanesque churches of Koblenz, the Liebfrauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) was built from 1180 till 1205 on the place of a late antique hall from the time of the Roman Emperor Valentinianus I. Between 1404 and 1430 the original Romanesque apse was replaced by the wide and high chor in late Gothic style. You can observe the tracery windows so much typical for this architectural period.
