early morning view of Burg Ehrenfels - the first castle (ruin) in the famous Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Journey starts in Bingen am Rhein, where this particular photo is made, and proceeds through the bends of this majestic river until Koblenz, where Rhine is met by the Moselle.
At the point where river Nahe joins the Rhine in Bingen the visitor is greeted with splendid view of vineyards on the right side of Rhine (in Land Hessen already) and two spectacular landmarks downstream: Burg Ehrenfels ruin and the Mouse Tower on an island middle in the river (not visible in this photo).

Good pic showing the whole atmosphere energetic. The golden rays coming on the hill is looking very nice. The ships is adding beauty to this pic. Clouds are well taken. A beautiful pic.

Good evening Bartek,
Fabulous morning with a cloud hang over the Rhine, gave a special, yet spectacular view along. We were also cruising from Bingen, only up to Sankt Goarshausen, and this beautiful castle was the first we had seen.
Fine taken shot, with a natural phenomenon created when a colder air "locked" between the relatively warm river and sun-heated air above.
