in lack of actually pictures, i have opened my archive for some older publications..

About the picture:

once more a lunch-break-picture, taken in wintery conditions teo years ago in december 2010..!

hope you may forgive me, but i hope soon to come back with actually pictures..

complimenti. Uno scatto stupendo per i colori estremamente delicati che solo la neve riesce a dare ed una composizione di tutto rispetto.
Gli alberi sembrano batuffoli sparsi sulla collina mentre l'edificio nelle sue tinte rossastre sta al posto giusto per la regola dei due terzi. Il cielo grigio (di quelli che io amo) completa degnamente questa ripresa.
Ovviamente al tutto ha anche contribuito l'ottima nitidezza, le tinte delicate ed il contrasto appropriato. Di nuovo complimenti

The snow , combinated with the grey sky and the winter light create a superb atmosphere in this very well composed picture , where the red ruins of the monastery are perfectly placed .

Hello Bernd,
this is very pleasant photo mostly due to the unusal for winter coloring. The tones are muted and settled but make the whole picture truly beautiful. The ruins on the top of the hill are nice contribution to the whole composition.
