Photographer’s Note
Yet another city in germany where this Rhine river passes by, called as Cologne/Koeln.
It is, in fact, Germany’s oldest city. Founded by the Romans 2000 years ago.
This city has one of the largest cathedral in the world.
With its Gothic architecture and towering spires, it is an unbelievable sight. Construction of the Dom began in 1248 and wasn’t completely finished until 1880.
It's Local Name is Altenberger Dom / Bergischer Dom.
I could have taken the picture frontside but decided to take it from the riverside.

nice backview of the famous cologne skyline with cathedral, Gross St. Martin, the old city and the
Hohenzollern Bridge, the light and colors are really great.
well done & best wishes, thor.
ps. the Altenberger Dom is about 25km from there in Odenthal-Altenberg.
