Photographer’s Note

During a walk in the Upper Castle's park here in Siegen I couldn't resist to "preserve" all this beauty. I hope you also like this wonderful sight.
The castle is situated on top of a hill above the old town the middle of the today's city.
In workshop you can see another view from up there.

Hello Frank,

Superb shot, celebrating the colors of spring, popping out all over. I believe, 7% of males and an inconsequential percentage of females suffer from red-green color blindness. How sad it would be to see these tulips and the grass as variegated shades of gray. At Oxford there used to be a famous theoretical physicist who did not know that he suffered from that malady, until he went on a strawberry picking venture with his family. They found out that he was searching for strawberries by examining shapes and not colors.

Our springtime is lovely too, now I am writing using my laptop on my knees sitting near perfumed flowers in my garden - but I must not show them because TE doesn't allow me to post my own place!!

This is a nice taste of Spring from your part of the world. Here in Florida most of the spring flowers have gone now and we are having days in the mid to upper 80's. What a beautiful park with great layers of color. Your town has some very beautiful spots.

sieht so aus als ob das wetter in good old germany auch ziemlich gut ist! :-) hier in florida sind es bei blauem
himmel auch immer so 27-30 grad...aber so ein tolles buntes blumenmeer habe ich hier noch nicht entdeckt, nur viele palmen.

This is really very springly photo - I saw something like that in Vienna yesterday, all the flowers are blooming and this fresh Spring greenery smell is in the air.
