Photographer’s Note

I took this photo some days ago in my favourite hiking area here in my region around Siegen. Perhaps a simple picture - but I think there's everything to have a wonderful hike, to have a good time!

Well, good by for a while! I'll change the hiking area now. Hiking in Ticino, southern Switzerland, and in Montafon valley in Austria also is great! ;-)

Hallo Frank. Ich mag diese Art von stillen Landschaften sehr. Der Blick geht bis in die Ferne. Alles wirkt friedlich und gibt den Gedanken freien Raum. Sehr schön. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

le titre le dit bien : c'est juste un chemin de campagne . Et pourtant , la composition est très plaisante : les grandes herbes , la perspective du chemin qui nous entraine vers les collines boisées , un ciel superbe . Tout est bien à sa place .

Un joli cliché de saison. C'est simple mais bien agréable à regarder. Le chemin conduit le regard et donne envie d'aller voir ce qu'il y a plus loin.

Not just a field path but also a nice image. The greens look nicely saturated in this picture. The path leading us to the background and creating an effective diagonal is very pleasant. Good details and clarity. Thanks Frank :-)

Good morning Frank.
A very attractive landscape here and a very attractive picture also. There is a good balance between the big cloud on one side and the little road on the other side.

As a hiker myself, I can appreciate this one!
Typical hiking shot and indeed a perfect place for a day of walking and enjoing nature, as you did on this one.

yes definitely just a little field path !
But ... with a beutiful cloudy sky, a superb light throughout and especially on the grass at the left and a splendid compo of this path guiding the eye towards the horizon line

Frank,
This is a nice shot with the road leading the eye through the shot. The off center placement of the road works well giving the scene a good sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. Have a great holiday and take many fine photos on your hikes! We just return from a few days in Switzerland in the Lauterbrunnen area.

A fine landscape photo from your favourite hiking area close your home. The composition is well thought with the off-centred path, which leads the eye to the distance. Beautiful and natural colours. Good depth and sharpness. The sky and the dark cloud on the left are well rendered. An inviting hiking track! TFS!

I missed this one, but I'm glad I had a look in your gallery because it's a beauty!
I love the simplicity of it, and the wonderful placement of the dirt road in the composition, nicely balancing that huge cloud. Not too much exposed and not over-saturated. The green looks superb. A great summer shot.

This is the kind of simple image used by Windows for desktop wallpaper. (Maybe you should try selling it to them! ;D) The pathway leads us into the scene and it is a excellent way to 'herald' your forthcoming travels on foot. Have a good trip
