Poor Man's Santorini, a photo from Nordrhein-Westfalen, West

Photographer's Note

This is just a bland office building but the colors somehow reminded me of the Greek island of Santorini. Obviously the white and blue buildings over there are much more beautiful and impressive, hence the name of the title. I corrected some of the lens distortion since I felt that straight lines were important for the overall effect of the picture.

Well Happy New Year my on and off friend!!! and love the angles here and the moon. the heus are so deeply saturated and the impact is lovely. Its of the rare office blocks which ahs the moon as its neighbour!!

Hallo Philip,

schöne farbliche Anspielung auf diese und auch andere wunderschöne griechische Inseln (bin selbst ein Fan davon); allerdings deckt der zweifelsohne schöne Himmel in diesem Fall den Kontrast nach meiner persönlichen Empüfindung, etwas zu arg zu.

Great title for your elegant minimalistic photo, Philipp. I love the position of the moon, and the overall clarity of the simple lines. A very pleasing image composed of white and blue tones. Very fine work.
