Photographer’s Note
This picture shows the headframe of the Zollverein coal mine, a world heritage site located in the heart of the Ruhr valley, once Germany's industrial center. The transition from the old industrial age to the 21st century has by no means been easy, but Zollverein is a fine example of how old mines can be given a new life.

Hallo Philipp,
schöne graphische Darstellung dieser sehenswerten Industrieanlage, schade der Himmel als Hintergrund nicht mitgespielt hat..
viele Grüße Bernd

Hallo Philipp!
One more excellent architecture "detail" in your great gallery! Great tight framing, amazing, "distorted" perspective, great light managment and colours! Congratulations!

Hallo Philipp,
Hey, it's inclined. :D Actually I find that a very good idea, aligning it with the diagonal instead of the vertical. It doesn't result always, but when it does, it's great. It reminds me those gigantic monsters of Japanese cartoons.
Grüße, José.

Hi Philipp, I like this tilted architectural shot, very sharp and the exposure well managed enabling your viewer to see the details o fthe schacht struktur. Reminds me of the Alte Elizabeth schacht in Freiberg Sachsen and the song:
Glueck auf! Glueck auf!
Der Steiger kommt...
Glueck Auf!
