Photographer’s Note
Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord II
Another picture of the industrial park (see my other picture).
In the centre you can see the old foundry II (green illuminated). To the left hand the gigantic building (blue illuminated) of pure steel where the melted iron was transported from the foundry furnace to the foundry.
If You never lived near a town that has (or once had) a lot of metal processing industrie you can hardly imagine the 'burning sky' above a foundry when a tapping was made. I could see this tapping from a distance more than 40km!
So I really like the reddish sky due to 'heavy air pollution' by CO2 and other industrial emissions.

So colorful. The colors of the sky seem not to be real, buy anyway they are captivating. Regards.

Pity the leaves in the right hand corner because it is such a nice shot. I agree with the pollution of the sky.

great shot, gunnar! :-)
wonderful colors, looking almost unreal.
the duisburg landschaftspark is s real
interesting place to take photos.
i was there only once for a concert
2 years ago and saw the illumination with
the different colors at night.
i always wanted to come back sometime
but did not make it yet.
good job!
as the previous critic did not like the
brances on the right too much, i tried a
workshop and took them away.
i do not know if it looks better that way...
