Photographer’s Note
Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord is a scenic park created in an industrial wasteland. The former steel production plant has been abandoned since 1985. The area has been transformed into a multifunctional park to commemorate the industrial past, and was first opened to visitors in 1994. On weekend nights the park is illuminated by colorful lights. The illumination has been designed by the artist Jonathan Park.
