Hi Mik,
Very good idea very well realised. Good pov and nice reflections. Very good graphical effect. İn order to increase the effect I would have it rather a little bit more drakened.
Anyhow I've made a WS and posted it. Hope you'll like it.

Hello Mik,
You captured one of the most famous streets in Europe on a very original way. I like the combination of classic and modern in this image.
It's stange but everything what's new is cold blueish and classic buildings have warm colors.

Stary w odbiciu jest pewnie ciekawszy niz w rzeczywistosci ;) chyba wole swiat w krzywym zwierciadle ;) napisalabym ze fajnie wypatrzone ale sie boje...

Like it, like it too... :D. Bardzo ³adne odbicia starszych budynków w nowym. £adne kolory, ale ¿eby nie by³o, to gdyby niebo by³o jakiego¶ innego koloru ni¿ bia³y, to by³oby zupe³nie ekstra ;). £adne :).

I think reflections of buildings are the second most photographed phenomena, right after the sunsets/sunrises, but as the nature is always different, so are the city reflections, and your photo is a good example of that. I like a lot how the smooth and curved shape (it feels very cool, urban and arrogant) contrasts with the warm colours and straight shapes of the other building. excellent observation :)

I see you enjoyed your walk around Germany a lot. This is great one. Remarkably how glass curcled building divides colourful old one into slices of different warm tones. They go so well with complementary blue. Excellent observing! But that is no surprise for me. :)

Eleganckie foto. Piekny POV, swietna kolorystyka. Dobre kolory. Uwielbiam te efekty odbicia w szybach w szklanych scianach wspolczesnej, nowoczesnej architektury.

Hello Mik en co,

Dusseldorf have different modern buildings, I remember this galss not at once, but I took different lovely pictures in this very new city.
During WAR II was this city completly in debris.
Reflection this this glass wall are very spectacular.

Podoba mi siê krótki opis tego zdjêcia, jaki pod nim zamie¶ci³ Fis. Tak sie jednak ³atwo mówi, a przecie¿ za tym stoi ca³a gama umiejetnosci w w³asnej wra¿liwo¶ci jaka dysponujme fotograf. To ona sprawia, ¿e rzeczy na pozór banalne urastaj± do miana wielkiej sztuki. Takich transformacji mo¿na doszukiwac sie z powodzeniem w tym kadrze.

Good idea on having caught these reflections in the front that works as a big mirror. It is a good resource, which I also use sometimes, with which an excellent graphical result is obtained always.
Good work of control of the difficult light and a good setting.

A nice reflection in the glass facade, it seems the weather did not provide too much light on that day but the colors of the reflected house are nicely warm

Ja to czasem nazywam "meandrami architektury". Często jest problemem, jak połączyć stare z nowym, co powoduje kłótnie wśród architektów... Czy przez kontrast, czy może przez analogie. Ja luię, kiedy stara architektura "przegląda się" w nowej - tak jak na waszym zdjęciu :)

ladne odbicia, dobrze wypatrzony temat, proste i efektowne chociaz niebo blade. Za podpisami nie przepadam, to cos jak datownik ale kazdy ma inny punkt widzenia.
