The same building: "Peek & Cloppenburg" department store at Schildergasse, Cologne.
For further information see
Another time of the year, and BTW: My wallet was stolen either inside this building or in a neighbouring café on that very day...

Interesting capture from Cologne with perfect graphical effect.
Your story with stlen wallet is quite sad ! But there's no difference if you are shopping in that famous mens outfit store or your wallet is been stolen ; their prices are quite hight !!
TFS and best regards

I just love the building on the right, with its network of glass, its circular shape and its fine reflections.
Somehow, I don't think the two buildings work well together. They are so different and each is fighting for superiority because they are of equal size.
I propose a crop to emphasise the beauty of the glass building. I hope you don't mind but I have done a w/s for you. See what you think.
My warm regards,

Hi again, Sven:
Thank you for posting the wonderful additional photos of this cool place. The multiple perspectives show well the complexities of the sight.
The wallet story is upsetting - I hope that your fine photos give you joy when you think of this place, instead of thinking of the theft.

Hallo Sven Erich
Wonderful contrast between old and new, commerce and spiritual life indeed.
The round, all glass facade of the shopping temple is very attractive and seems to try to clash with the old ways of the church here.
