Photographer’s Note
I left Dusseldorf and went by train to the small airport KOLN BONN, I had to change in Koln and had only two minutes (my train is just approaching) The single ticket was about 10 euros, so it's not a fortune to travel by S-bahn which is ON TIME, reliable, clean and quiet.
A view of the famous cathedral seems to say goodbye to all the tourists:)
Cologne (German: Köln) is Germany's fourth-largest city (after Berlin, Hamburg and Munich), and is the largest city both in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Area, one of the major European metropolitan areas with more than ten million inhabitants. It is one of the oldest cities in Germany, having been founded by the Romans in the year 38 BC.
It lies on the River Rhine. The city's famous Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cologne. The University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln) is one of Europe's oldest universities.

Czesc,
ciekawy fragment Twojej podrozy po Niemczech. Slynna katedra sie zalapala w kadrze, przyciaga wzrok. Bdb ostrosc. Troche pomajstrowalem w WS aby ciut rozjasnic to zdjecie.

Hi Ophelcia,
ciekawy dokument. Pogoda jak latem w Irlandii.
Dosyc przygnebiajace.
Kompozycja fajna. Ciekawy punkt widzenia.
Kolory brudno brzydkie ale to one wlasnie wprowadzaja te przygnebiajaca atmosfere.
Ciekawy obrazek z zycia codziennego.

nice view standing on the platform of the cologne-deutz trainstation! :-) there are many great lines for the
eyes to follow and of course the cathedral hiding behind the hohenzollern bridge in the background is terrific. good use of 2-minutes-waiting time & best wishes, thor.

The cathedral makes it IMO. Also attractive perspective given by the curves of the platform and rail tracks. Nice inclusion of the incoming red train. Maybe the woman in jeans is disturbing, esp. as she has been caught from the back.

Hello Gosia,
A good perspective on the cathedral with the curving tracks taking the eyes inexorably towards the twin spires. The dull day brings a particular mood to the scene. Very good sharpness.

Hello Gosia. New country, new motives. The Cologne cathedral is naturally a special motive. You selected the point of view of the station. Unfortunately the sky was cloudy. Altogether however the photo is worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Gosia,
Ah, a scene which I have become althogether too familiar with in the past year! I like how the tracks seem to lead right into the cathedral, and the sense of both inside and outside simultaneously with the arrangement of the roofs.
Cheers,
Jordan

Hello Gosia,
I like the photos about trains because they have always a graphic mood. Very nice composition with the cathedral in BG and all these people waiting but if the red train was in sight it would be better.
Have a good WE, Vasilis.

Bardzo mi się podoba to zdjęcie. Właśnie to jest prawdziwy widok Katedry: taki codzienny, chociaż właśnie jak na fotografię - bardzo niecodzienny. Gratuluję (również refleksu) i pozdrawiam!

Hello Gosia,
I like this shot :) I like such "ordinary daily life" scenes! they show a lot...
Excellent perspective, with the red train in the distance! The photo is really very well composed, and I especially like the inclusion of the Cathedral in the photo!
the right side of the photo looks dark but as I see, it has already been corrected in a WS version :)
Best regards,
Elena
