Cologne is Germany's fourth-largest city after Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, and is one of the major European metropolitan areas with more than ten million inhabitants. It is one of the oldest cities in Germany, having been founded by the Romans in the year 38 BC. Cologne lies on the River Rhine. The city's famous Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cologne. The University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln) is one of Europe's oldest universities. (From Wikipedia). This bridge is one of the busiest ones over Rhine. The bird attracted my attention, hope you like.

Koln almanya’nin Berlin, Hamburg ve Munih’ten sonra dorduncu buyuk sehri ve Avrupa’nin, 10 milyondan fazla nufusu ile onemli metropol alanlarindandir. Almanya’nin en eski sehirlerindendir, M.O. 38 yilinda Roma’lilar tarafindan kurulmustur. Koln, Ren Nehri uzerinde yerlesmistir. Sehrin unlu Katedrali, Roma-Katolik Baspiskoposlugunun merkezidir. Koln Universitesi ise Avrupa’nin en eski universitelerinden birisidir. (Wikipedia’dan). Bu kopru, Ren nehri uzerindeki en islek olanlardan birisi. Kus dikkatimi cekti, umarim begenirsiniz.

An excellent composition, from a well-chosen pov, with the red train giving dynamism and color to the shot.
A good perspective too thanks to the fg's ferry (?).

Tulay,
This is a nice shot of the rail bridge. We sat on a boat that was docked about the same place as the one in the foreground of your shot and watched trains cross this bridge for quite a while. It is amazing the amount of rail traffic that crosses this bridge. For us here in the US it is amazing to see so much passenger train service, since we have so little.
Your composition is great here including the boat, train, bridge and the bird that seems to be keeping an eye on everything. The lighting and colors are fine here with nice sharpness and detail.

Hello Tulay,
An interesting composition with good graphical lies from the bridge. Also, interesting juxtaposition between the train and the ferry boat. The red train is well placed, adding a pleasing splash of colour and a sense of movement.

Tam altı yıl önce Ren nehri kenarında yürüyüp bu köprünün altından geçmiştim.
O zamanki makinam dijital olmadığı ve dolayısıyla film bağımlısı olduğu için çok da fazla fotoğraf çekememiştim.
Güzel bir çekim.

merhaba, beni yıllar önceye, çelik yapılar dersine götürdünüz..zor ama en zevkli derslerden biridir, inşaat fakültelerinde..berki mesleki nedenlerden olcak, mesnetlerin eksik olması zihnimi zorladı...ama tren ve onun rengi, karedeki yeri...çok güzel...hani bölgeyide güzel anlatan bir fotoğraf olmuş..sevgiler, selamlar..

Félicitations pour ce cadrage très original de ce pont enjambant le Rhin, le passage du métro ajoute de la force à la composition et donne une tache rouge du plus bel effet.
Très bien réalisation.
