The city of Bonn, former capital to the Federal Republic of Germany, here seen from Drachenburg Castle.
The highest building is the Post Tower, seat of Deutsche Post (German Mail). The building to the right, called "Langer Eugen", used to provide office rooms for the members of the German Bundestag (parliament). Now it is the seat of eleven smaller UN organizations.
It was early in spring, and colour was almost non-existent, so I converted to B&W.

Hallo Sven Erich
Long time no see ...
I remember Bonn as a lively little town from a visit to a trade fair in Köln some years back. As all Hotels in Köln or Düsseldorf where fully booked we had to stay in Bonn overnight. Charming as it was,it never striked me as being the german capital.
I suppose in these days it has become very quiet?
Nice overview over the city that works really well in black and white.
Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Sonntag
