Photographer’s Note

This gable is located in an area that appears largely untouched by the ravages of WWII. Plenty of magnificent late 19th century buildings can be found in this particular part of Bonn. The level of detail on their facades is sometimes astonishing.

Eine einfallsreiche Darstellung - "durch die Äste". Schon in der kleinen Version macht dies neugierig. Ein ungewöhnliches Architekturfoto, aber ein attraktives!

Hallo Philipp,
There is a great work with the depth of field in this capture, and a very dynamic framing.
I like the angle and the short plane on this architectural detail, and the 3D effect of the leaves in foreground.

Hi Philipp,

The selective focus works really well to focus attention on the building and it's been composed nicely for nicer effect. I notice the splash of red in the very bottom too which seems to add something to the overall look of the photo. Really nice work :)
