Photographer’s Note

Once again a shot of the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn. I just liked the strong straight lines and contrasts that were created by the contemporary buildings. As you may have guessed, I used a polarizer for this one. It almost seems a bit overdone but then again I think the really deep blue sky creates a nice contrast with the bright white buildings.

this is excellent - the polarizer giving the sky that unmistakeable dark colour that makes the difference here: it creates such a strong contrast with the white buildings that makes it appropriate to use the word "expressionistic" for it.
