La imponente colegiata catedralicia de San Jorge se eleva sobre el rio Lahn. Este edificio monumental cuyo
estilo románico tardio y del gótico frances temprano, fue erigido en 1190-1250.
El interior de bellas proporciones, alberga una rica variedad de piezas historicas, como los murales del S.XIII del presbiterio y el crucero, la pila bautismal del mismo periodo y la lapida de Konrad Kurzbold,quien fundó la primera iglesia en el emplazamiento de esta catedral.

muy hermosa esta arquitectura. me gusta la manera como usted he encuadrado la fachada y la luz que la ilumina, no parece um gótico tan antiguo, poderia estar en una ciudad brasileña y ser llamada de neo-gótico .. muy bueno trabajo

This is a great shot of this beautiful church. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The overhanging trees frame the shot nicely. The deep blue sky provides nice contrast for the pink church.

Hola Luis,
otro buen trabajo de escaneado de una antigua foto. La calidad de la imagen se mantiene bastante bien, a pesar de los años, y el encuadre es perfecto para conseguir esta buena perspectiva hacia el cielo de la impresionante catedral rosada.
La presencia de personas en el encuadre nos ayuda a comprender las enormes dimensiones de su arquitectura.
Y las ramas colgando arriba añaden el toque artístico al conjunto.

Hola Luis,

me gusta mucho este edificio, me llama la atencion el color, extraño para una catedral, el angulo es bueno magnificando la altura de la fachada, me gusta el detalle de los arboles sobre la misma, buen trabajo!

Hello Luis,
A straightforward frontal view just focusing on the special beauty and colours of the cathedral. The two cyclist give an idea of the surprisingly big scale of the church. The overhanging tree branches add a welcome lively accent.
