Photographer’s Note

Castle Mosburg
North of the barock castle of Biebrich, Wiesbaden is an English Gaden designed by Friedrich Ludwig von Schell. At a pond you could see the Mosburg built in 1804.

Please have a look to the workshop ... a lot of parakeets are living in this park. Some years ago they escape from a private zoo. Now more the 100 of them are living her. How find them? You could hear them always loud crying in the trees.

Hi Achim,
This is a small castle ... must be just a playhouse for the royalty :) Good idea to include the people in the image as it give scale to the castle. Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs

Joli cliché de ce château de petite taille lorsque l'on le compare à la taille des promeneurs. Il a une architecture intéressante et la luminosité nous fait apprécier les couleurs.

Hello Achim,
A good composition of this delightful little 'castle' nicely surrounded by trees. The family group adds a sense of vitality and a feeling fro the scale of the place. Good colours and clarity.

Belle présentation de ce château avec une belle lumiére qui lui donne une jolie teinte, joli cadrage avec l'eau, les canards, la petite famille et toutes la beauté de ces arbres, là ou les " perroquets" se fond dans la couleur verte des arbres, on peut peut etre les entendres mais surement diffiçile de les voir

Hello Achim,

A very small castle but a lovely construction with wait towers middle in the green environment. Good idea to include the people in the image as it give scale to the castle.
Friend Achim, I look to your WS, I think that the bird is an Agapornus, I've here one in my house, the same bird. TFS.

Beautiful setting and great picture! The castle is picture perfect, with the tower and the walls being a warm colour that contrasts nicely with the green of the garden. The people are an important addition, as they add some scale to this. Well done!

Ich war so oft in Wiesbaden aber noch nie da,
sehr interessant,Du hast schöne Farben und Schärfe gebracht,
Also nächstens mal ab nach Biebrich,Trekearth heißt nich um sonst 'Learning about the world through photography'

Achim, ce château fait un peu château de poupée dans une cadre très verdoyant. L'ensemble est très plaisant et les promeneurs apportent du dynamisme à la composition.

Nie gehört - aber wirklich sehens- und "zeigenswert"! Mir gefallen besonders die "unaufdringlichen" Farben und das ruhige Ambiente hier. Ein schönes Eckchen Deutschland! Der WS ist ja wirklich interessant!
