Actually, the fog only covered the areas near the river Rhein, a short distance from there, the sky was blue.
Still, I felt the lacl of colours was more photogenic...
These willows stand a few metres from the river, in Biebrich.

Nice moody picture. The silhouette of the willows against a sun that has been reduced to moon-like stature by the mist is a nice effect.

the grotesque contortions in the lower end of the willows add to the surreal atmosphere. the tree on the left is a slight distraction from the triple layered composition but otherwise this is an excellent composition!! well seen!!
