When I was a young teacher with an exorbitant amount of work to do (and not too much money), I used to frequent Friedel Hensler's bakery shop on Kornmarkt, Limburg.
Apart from his decorative gingerbread figures bought by lots of tourists, Hensler offered a wonderful cake with crumble topping which often helped me through the rest of the day as a kind of survival kit.
One day, they had some Gugelhupf cake, a very rare event. When asked why the Gugelhupf was not a part of their normal offers, I was told: "The baker will only make Gugelhupf if he feels like baking it."

Hello Sven Erich
The bakery itself looks quite like a cream cake. Isn't it still the best to buy from a real artisan baker than the industrial thing we get at the supermarkets, its so rewarding.
Nice and romantic picture.
einen schönen Tag
PS: wie war Genf? Ich hatte dort mal 2 Jahre lang gewohnt.
