Photographer’s Note
Snapshot / candid photo.
Impressions at a bus stop. A poster with the title innocently, a waiting young woman and a bus driver.
Each person looks in another direction and seems busy with itself. But the photo does not have a deeper meaning. It is a coincidence product.
See workshop. I think, in the abstract b&w version the picture works better.

It is an interesting casual trio (actually, a quartet) in an impressive B&W composition. I like the way everyone is at his business including the woman in the poster. Even the aged person. Very well seen.

Hello Wolfgang,
I appreciate very much the black and white treatment here, it works extremely well for this great composition. I like the juxtaposition and balance between the three central 'characters'. An excellent range of tones and very good clarity, complete a fine image well worth seeing.

Dear Wolfgang,
well seen, I like this pieces of daily life, with a mix of different people, posters, each of them doing their own business...I wish you had redressed a bit the perspective, the inclusion of that tube makes for some graphics too, and your b/w is very nicely contrasted.

Well done, Wolfgang.
You created a splendid and modern compostion here.
The use of black and white was a good idea.
Excellent B&W tones and perfectly captured from a very original point of view.

Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Hey Wolf,
Very well conceived !!! Each person looking at different direction. Desaturation has worked well here!!
GOOD SHOT.

Wolfgang,

Images and people again, Wolf. This time it's rather special. There seems to be a chemistry between all three subjects. The intimidating model, the wistful girl looking in her direction and the young man, seemingly lost n concentration. The wall and the pipe divide the frame in a rather cross like shape. Everything is so perfectly exposed too. regards kevin

Hi Wolfgang,
That is what I call street photography!
And yes, the black and white does it! I might perhaps have cut it off above the 'pro sieben' to give it a horizontal layout. The top doesn't add that much to me. But the whole compo with the three persons all in their own world surely works for me!
Have a good weekend,
Dennis

Hello Wolfgang
Definetely in black and white works better.
Very nice daily life shot.
The "Not guilty" poster and your subjects create a nice scenario.
Just a few seconds earlier to catch the old lady in the picture would be nice,I think.
My kind regards
Have a sunny weekend

Great shot Wolf of these people waiting around, including the model!
The eye really seems to wonder at random throughout, but in a nice way. Like Dennis, perhaps a slither off the top would have excluded the balcony on the building behind, which would keep the eye bouncing between the people? Well seen and captured. Have a good weekend, regards, Casper

Hallo Wolfgang,
Oliver

I like this urban shot and juxtaposition of reality with advertisement images. Monochrome accentuates the disconnectedness, but in itself, this image is not dramatic, just a random shot of daily life. Well done.

Hallo Wolfgang,
You forgot to put it in another category: "Decisive moment". I used to chase for this kind of street snapshots and I know how rare it is to get a catchy image. You have to be very observative to notice the situations, you have to be quick because just a head turn may make the image completely uninteresting, very often the surrounding elements ruin the compo. Here everything is just right. The looks of persons play an interesting game, producing a kind of tension that is enhanced by the absence of any clue to what they may be thinking of, and the image is also very interesting graphically. I like how that tube above gives depth to a mostly flat image with much compressed planes.
I guess that the colour version is also very achieved, but certainly this is the kind of image that is expected to be more effective in B&W, because it reminds some classics of the mid 20th century and the absence of colours makes the 'moody' aspects stand out, without any interference of colours that tend to put emphasis on the graphical aspects.
Regards, José.
