In passing, I see the hair salon. Here are the hair artists at work. There is an almost reverent and intimate atmosphere. Being beautiful is the most important thing. I am very impressed.

J'aime beaucoup la qualité technique de cette photo. La lumière est parfaite et fait bien ressortir les détails de ce salon de coiffure dans ses moindres détails. Une belle scène animée.

A fascinating insight into this high-tech hairdressing salon filled with ladies in various states of preparation. I like the lighting and the excellent detail to be observed.

I lover photo's from barbershops and you see mostly photo's of men's places. Here the ladies hairdresser is a welcoming addition and a very good photo.

Great! I like this photo, amazing daily life scene. This hair salon looks like a TV studio with so serious light equipment etc.

My first thought was that there was too much distraction in the ceiling area, and thought you should have cropped some of it out. Then I realised what an important part of the composition it is, subtley undermining the title and pointing up its irony. A super shot of everyday, humdrum reality, where no-one is especially beautiful, apart perhaps from the poster girls.

This is a strange kind of place which I have never visited. It reminds me of a cross between a factory and an art galley. Beauty is produced in what looks like a rather chaotic environment. I am amazed that you could just "in passing" take a photo in a place like this without anybody seeming to care, or even noticing you.

Lovely shot Wolf. Everyone relaxed and on their phones whilst someone else does all the work of making them beautiful. That's the life!

We all find captivating roadside barbers in India, the small hole in the wall for men's grooming in Turkey, or the vintage barbershops in Italy, but we don't pay attention to the hair salons in our western world (and everything else to which the word exoticism isn't applicable).
But your photo surely made my eyebrows going upwards, realising that their is beauty and interest in most commonplaces.
About two months ago, Jason Cowling (jcpix) was showcasing a photo taken in a supermarket, at the level of the shopping cart, offering a fresh perspective on probably the most mundane location. I have a similar impression looking at your image, feeling like an observer, rather than an actor when visiting one of these places. It's a storytelling shot, like a microcosm enclosing a sample of society in general, most of them busy with their phones, looking happy in their own bubble.
The place in itself is quite interesting, looking industrial; small but efficient, with free Wi-Fi...

I don't know how you do this - but if I would try such pic. in Tel-Aviv or any other town in Israel - I might get scolded...
Fine use of the whole pic. space, fine light and colors managed, and a smile you got from the lady on right, though she made herself not loking.

Coming back from holidays, I have to wander in many galleries to discover what I missed during this time.
It appears to be a movie scene, with the many spots and wires at the ceiling and the weird piece of furniture, everybody is in his own world ignoring the other people (the cellphone is the XXIth century illness).
